We Believe that God Loves

God is love, power, and splendour—and God is a mystery. His ways are far beyond us, but He still reaches out to us. God is infinite yet intimate, three yet one, all knowing yet all-forgiving.

We Believe that God Creates

From neurons to nebulae, DNA to distant galaxies, we are surrounded by wonder. The wonder of a God who creates. Yet the beauty is broken.

We Believe that God Redeems

Love. Harmony. Perfection. Once, all creation sang the same glorious song. Jesus came so that we can find that song again.

We Believe that God Inhabits

Jesus left His followers with an epic mission: to love people the way He loved them and to tell the world of His love and His promise to return.

We Believe that God Transforms

Through Jesus, our lives are changed forever from the inside out. The law in the Ten Commandments show us how to live and make clear our need for Jesus. But it’s about far far more than just toeing the line. Jesus changes everything.

We Believe that God Triumphs

From the Garden of Eden to the Exodus from Egypt, from the death of Jesus to His soon return, the story of scripture is one of a God who fights for people. A God who ultimately triumphs over all darkness and calls us home to glorious eternity.

Full Statement of Beliefs

The Adventist church holds to the Bible as our only creed. We also believe in something we call present truth. That simply means that we don't have any words of belief that we have written that are set in stone for all of time. Rather we have agreed upon statements that we believe the Bible to be teaching us. As the Holy Spirit (God's presence in us) reveals to us truth as expressed in the word of God our statements are subject to change and reflect that over time as voted on by representatives from our global church. Our current statement of beliefs is a document called the '28 Fundamental Beliefs,' to view that in its entirety, click here.
