VISIT

Every Saturday morning around the world, Seventh-day Adventists gather together in community to worship Jesus through music, prayer and Bible teachings.

For us, the day starts with Sabbath School at 9:30am. We come together in small groups and enjoy some discussion with our bibles open. Learning from each other and growing in our spiritual journeys. It doesn't matter if you are completely new to Faith, or a biblical scholar, your story is valid and your contribution is welcome. In many ways this is the heart and soul of what it means to be church. Bring your questions, your doubts, your celebrations, and your triumphs, this is how we share life together.

The church’s main worship program runs after our Sabbath School time at 11am. We sing hymns of praise, and hear a sermon (approx. 30 minute teaching from Scripture that helps us learn more about God and live a life centred on Jesus). We also spend time talking to God in prayer together.

Our church is for everyone and we’d love you to join us!

What to Expect

When are worship services held?

Every Sabbath (Saturday) morning at 9:30am for Sabbath School and 11am for main service. At other times through the week our community may gather for food, prayer, or community service.

Do I need a Bible?

No. You don’t have to bring anything—just yourself. If you would like a Bible, you can borrow one when you get here. You can also download a free Bible app to your smartphone.

Should I go if I don’t know anyone?

Absolutely! Our church is a place where all people are welcome, whether you’re younger or older, a lifelong Christian or a spiritual seeker. We would love to meet you! If you feel nervous, bring a friend or just send us a message.

Will I be asked to give money?

Every week we give our regular attenders the opportunity to support a variety of causes. It’s not required or expected that anyone give a donation, especially if you’re visiting us for the first time.

Will I be asked to speak publicly or pray?

If you participate in a Sabbath School class, you’ll probably be asked to introduce yourself and to offer an opinion on what’s being discussed. You can participate as much or little as you want though, we want you to be comfortable! It's not typical for a first-time guest to be singled out in the main worship service. Prayer is an important part of worship, and you are welcome to join in, but no one will ever force you to pray.

Who do I speak to if I have any questions?

Ask if you can speak to one of the leadership team—the pastor or one of the elders. Or just start with someone who looks friendly!

Is there a dress code? How do I know what to wear?

There is no exact dress code, we are relaxed with you wearing whatever makes you comfortable. You'll find most of us do choose to dress up a little bit though as we like to make church a special thing.
